Kampala: Introducing the DFCU House

Feature image
The Office Development located on Nakasero Hill in the Kampala Capital will serve as a multipurpose building accommodating banking halls, executive banking wings, customer service centres, offices serviced by multiple pantries, a cocktail terrace, fitness club, double storey parking-lot and a Chinese banking centre, a first in the Uganda’s financial market. This is complimented by Rwandan granite which has been highlighted through principal outdoor features such as the gate house. One of the key features of this design is the rooftop terrace which will present a scenic recreational public space for the tenants. This vibrant ....

The designs for the external façades, and internal public areas were inspired by classical architecture and more particularly, Tuscan style villages. The incorporation of a porte cochere for the open and natural lit central courtyard, use of coarse textures and subtle colour schemes are examples of this. Furthermore, ther....
