Industrial Development Project

An elegant, horizontal glass enclosure gradually unveils as one drives along Lugogo bypass in Kampala, to reveal a Multi-purpose industrial building for TATA Uganda limited- the oldest and leading truck distributor in Uganda.

The building’s design and layout is a response to the site terrain, with a 3.5 meter floor interval that takes advantage of the 7 meter slope accommodating the client’s program of activities. Major functions are: showcasing trucks, housing a one stop shop where clientele can purchase spares and have vehicles serviced. The showroom is the highlight of the project and features an open space with natural & decorative lighting that illuminate the display.

It comprises a customer service centre with spacious waiting area, workshops/service bays, spares sales shop, storage units and offices. An upper ground floor abodes the showroom, offices and pharmaceutical store. On the upper ground Mezzanine are offices overlooking the vehicle showroom. The first floor has a roof terrace and staff canteen. Symbion’s ingenuity, innovation and attention to detail reflects in the building’s functionality and aesthetic.
