Symbion and its consortium partners are excited to undertake a social housing development project consisting of 5,000 units in the DRC.
With DRC’s recent admission to the East African Community (EAC), the resource rich country created an opening, encouraging increased collaboration and integration of African states, as well as the inclusion of citizens, so as to further the continent’s growth and economic development.
The consortium intends to use the latest construction technology to minimize project costs, time, and materials. We look forward to delivering a great development that will serve as a steppingstone expanding our services to the Francophone countries.
Sarova Panafric Nairobi along Kenyatta Avenue has been transformed by Symbion Consulting Group into an avant-garde businessman’s hotel, that offers a convenient escape within the city. New and renovative works began in 2016 that included the pool, a new outdoor sitting area, a health club building housing the gym, spa & changing rooms, hotel rooms and main lift lobby renovation and a façade redesign that eliminated the balconies, enlarging the rooms.
Among many other areas, renovated by Symbion Consulting Group, Sarova Panafric’s Pool and Outdoor space transports one to another realm where the pool’s blue, the plants’ green and the hardscape’s earth tone create the ideal city escape. The Hotel building becomes a subtle backdrop in this new world, where hours pass by as one unwinds by the pool, outdoor lounges, restaurant and bar area.
We are thrilled to announce that the Aga Khan University Center, one of our latest projects, has received EDGE Advanced Certification. This is an internationally recognized green building standard awarded to buildings for their sustainable design and performance. The certification was made possible through collaborative efforts between the excellent design teams at Symbion Consulting Group and Payette.
Agha Khan University Centre is a high-rise building complex featuring classrooms, staff workspaces, and multi-functional suites for training medical and nursing students in a variety of simulated clinical experiences. Sitting on a 0.75 ha site, the mini campus also features a host of auxiliary spaces such as outdoor spaces for informal meetings and reading.
